Amend The Second Amendment...

The Second Amendment is Full of Holes

Newtown, CT: Another Day - Another Mass Shooting..

My heart is breaking - once again - for the victims and their families - AND for the surviving children and THEIR families. Basically - the lives of the entire community of Newtown - 30,000 inhabitants - will never be the same again. Ever!

I am also angry. The twenty-year-old shooter, Adam Lanzer - was armed to the teeth! Let's see...a Glock automatic pistol, a Sig Sauer automatic pistol, and - oh, yes - a Bushmaster 223 AR-15 automatic rifle!

It's Christmas - perhaps he also had a Partridge in a Pear Tree? Or...are those a 'PROTECTED SPECIES' - unlike our children, apparently..

I'm just so sick and tired of hearing about how the Founding Fathers could do no wrong and could clearly see hundreds of years into the future!

Even the suggestion of gun control makes the rabid NRA supporters start frothing at the mouth and reaching for their impressive arsenal of weaponry, wealth and power - in order to keep the whining, unpatriotic 'tree huggers' intimdated and quiet!

'Nuff Said?
'Nuff Said?

Rabid NRA Defenders..

I've had it up-to-here with those same rabid NRA supporters who start screaming that people are 'using' these tragedies in order to 'politicize' the issue of gun control.

Politicize? Oh, yes - and it's a wickedly devious agenda: Attempting to stem the flow of innocent blood running freely - and far too easily - through the streets of America!

It begs the question: Do these staunch NRA supporters happen to notice - or care - that innocent people are dying, en mass - and with an alarming increase in frequency?

And last but not least - I am sick and tired of hearing that it's the 'person's' fault - NOT the gun's!

Why then, in New York - did they feel it worthwhile to BAN Slurpee's over 16 ounces? BANNED! Apparently, Slurpee's are dangerous for the health and welfare of the general population at large and steps were taken to, ahem, protect them...(OY)..

Buuuut, wait - why doesn't the exact same premise hold true? Isn't it the PERSON'S fault - NOT the Slurpee's?

And yet - in spite of this argument - Slurpee's ARE banned! Hmmmmmm....

Have We Had Enough Yet?
Have We Had Enough Yet?

SIXTEEN mass shootings in 2012 alone...to date..

It has become abundantly clear that whatever those NRA supporters are protecting - it's NOT the health and welfare of the general population at large...

I'm thinking that it's a terrible shame that the Founding Fathers didn't have a fondness for Slurpees - and not guns!

God bless..

Is it Time to Implement Automatic Gun Control Measures?
